Traders killing stirs up protest

Traders and businessmen in Pasrur observed a complete strike in protest against the overnight brutal assassination of two local traders Hafiz Muhammad Sajjad and Tayyub by unidentified accused including the brother-in-law of the slain traders in Main Bazaar Pasrur city.
The protesting traders wore black armbands and staged rally to vent off resentment against the brutal murders, demanding immediate arrest of the accused. Slain trader Muhammad Sajjad’s father Muhammad Ramzan was also injured seriously in this ambush and was admitted to Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot in critical condition.
Pasrur City Police SHO Inspector Riazul Haq told the newsmen that the slain traders’ Narowal based brother-in-law Chaand Butt killed them for not allowing his (Chaand) divorced wife to go with him. The reason behind this double murder was stated to be a family dispute.  Pasrur DSP Mian Absar Ahmed said that the police had launched raids to ensure early arrest of the killers.
Later, both of the slain traders were laid to rest in native graveyard. Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid expressed grave concern over the brutal murder of the Pasrur city based two traders. He consoled with the grieved family and directed the Sialkot DPO Gohar Nafees to ensure early arrest of the killers.
