MULTAN- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said today that his party was the main competitor of the government in every by-election. In a statement, he said the PTI's victory in Hafizabad gave a clear message to the government that people of the country had confidence in the party's leadership. "In the past, PTI candidates were defeated through rigging," he claimed. He appealed to the government to provide a due share of resources to underdeveloped areas of South Punjab. Javed Hashmi lamented that hurdles were being created in construction of an agriculture university in the region.
