SHEIKHUPURA (- The Saddr Farooqabad Police claimed to have arrested a notorious proclaimed offender after a shootout here the other day.
On a tip-off, the police conducted on a raid at hideout near QB Link Canal.
When PO Moazzam alias Moji saw the police party, he along two accomplices opened fire on the police party. In retaliation the PO was arrested while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.   The police said that he had been involved in heinous crime and last year he had snatched a school van near village Jhabran.
