ISLAMABAD - Inquiry Commission on Abbottabad Operation on Tuesday conducted detailed interviews of an NGOs country director and some local residents of Abbottabad. The meeting was held in the Cabinet Division under the Chairmanship of Justice Javed Iqbal, former senior judge of the Supreme Court and President of the commission. The commission conducted detailed interviews of David Wright, Country Director, Save the Children, Farrukh Masood Khan, Director, Military Lands and Cantonment Department, Rawalpindi region, and Sohaib Athar, local resident of Abbottabad. The meeting was attended by Abbas Khan, Ashraf Jehangir Qazi, Lt Gen (Retd) Nadeem Ahmed, members of the Commission. The next meeting of the commission will be held today (Wednesday). In the previous meetings the inquiry commission conducted further interviews of local and officials of the area namely Constable Nazar Muhammad, Muhammad Irshad, Major (Retd) Amir Aziz and Wajid Khan. The commission had already conducted detailed interview of wife of al-Qaeda leader Abu Ahmed Al-Kuwaiti. In previous meetings, the commission had an interview of the director general ISI. Earlier, the commission had also taken statements and investigated the wives and daughters of Osama bin Laden.
