QUETTA - A check post of security forces was attacked with rockets in Barkhan while security forces seized explosives in Mastung and Subatpur districts of Balochistan, on Sunday.
According to sources, militants fired two rockets from nearby mountains targeting a check post of security forces in Barkhan.  “The rockets landed in desolate areas causing no damage to life and property”,they said, adding, that security forces started a search action in the area after rocket attack to hunt down the militants. On the other hand, security forces on a tip-off seized explosives planted outside a house owned by Koshal in Teramil area of Mastung.
Security sources said that unknown people had planted explosives which were timely defused after calling Bomb Disposal Squad while the explosives weighed 20kg.
Similarly, unidentified people had planted landmine at roadside in Police Station RD 298 area of Subatpur district near Gott Nawab Hussain which was defused by Bomb Disposal Squad.
Meanwhile, explosives fitted with a tractor trolley at Gott Sardar Khan of Jaffarabad district went off with a huge blast which completely destroyed the tractor trolley. Separate cases of all incidents have been registered by concerned administration and further investigations were underway.
