Islamabad- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, who had suddenly left the protest sit-in in the federal capital's Red Zone to hit a gym --at an unknown location, is back to lead his workers against a suspected imminent clampdown.
Earlier, his party leaders had told that Khan had left to exercise in order to loosen himself up and would be back before long.
"Khan sahib, who hasn't missed a single workout in the last 30 years, has not been able to jog/weight lift for a fortnight. So he will spend about two hours sweating in the gym (or on the treadmill) to make up for his missed exercise sessions", party spokesman, Naeemul Haq told.
To a question, he said Khan would return to the protest march after at 02:00 AM today morning. He denied Khan had gone to his residence in Bani Gala.
"He hasn't gone home... to work out at. That I know for sure, but I guess he may stop over at his home on his way back to the PTI protest camp here", said Haq without disclosing Khan's exact whereabouts.
