Bandits loot cash, gold, valuables in separate strikes

SHEIKHUPURA - The bandits took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees in separate strike from different areas of the district here the other day.
In first incident, four bandits entered the house of one Mazhar Ali in Dhoop Sari locality, in the limits of Safdarabad Police. They made the family hostage and looted Rs3,00,000, 3 tolas gold ornaments, a rifle and other valuables. The Safdarabad Police have registered a case against the culprits.  Similarly, dacoits entered a Bakery shop near stop 25 after overpowering the security guard.  The outlaws looted cash more than Rs2,50,000, cellphones and pistol of the security guard in broad daylight and succeeded to flee on bike. In another incident, two armed motorcycle riders abducted a young girl near Welcome Gate on Faisalabad Road in the precinct of Manawala police station, when she was on his way to home.  The police have registered a case on the complaint of abductees' brother Sarfraz.  Two unknown motorcyclists throw an alive new born baby in Boota Park in the limit of Factory Area Police in wee hours here the other day. The area people with the help of police handed over the baby to a couple of the same area.
MAN CRUSHED TO DEATH: An old man was crushed to death here on the other day. According to detail, the unidentified man, appeared to be 65-year-old received severe injuries after a fast moving Crain hit him near Vegetable Market.
He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to hospital by Rescue-1122. However, he succumbed to his wounds on the way to Lahore General Hospital. The police impounded the vehicle.
