QUETTA - Two people, including a doctor were shot dead in Quetta and Jaffarabad on Sunday.
In the first incident, unidentified armed assailants seriously injured a man identified as Mehboob at Zarghoonabad area of Quetta by opening indiscriminate firing on him. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The attackers fled from the scene after committing the crime. In the second incident, armed men shot dead a doctor in Jaffarabad district.
Police said that incident occurred in RD 238 area when unidentified armed men shot dead doctor Shams-ud-Din and escaped from the site.
Police said investigations into both the incidents were underway.
Police have registered separate cases of both the incidents.
