Breakthrough likely in Shahbaz-Nisar today's meeting

ISLAMABAD-The Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif will be holding a crucial meeting with disgruntled senior party leader and Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan as a last ditch efforts to mend ways with the party.
Source said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif was scheduled to meet Nisar at the Punjab House on Wednesday but his plane could not fly due to inclement weather in Islamabad.
The CM had earlier held a meeting with irritated Nisar at his residence few days ago which lasted for four hours during with the former had tried his best to appease him, assuring to address his grievances.
The sources said that the Thursday's Shahbaz-Nisar meeting would be a breakthrough to hammer out the differences.
Sources said Nisar was unhappy with the PM as the later did not consult him on major decisions regarding law and order. Similarly, the interior minister was also reportedly discontented with the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for not being consulted over budget 2014-15.
Nisar, who holds the portfolio of Ministry of Interior, has not been attending key party meetings and National Assembly sittings for some time.
