BUREWALA/DASKA/MUZAFFARGARH-Three girls were raped in separate incidents occurred in different areas.
According to details, in Burewala two youth allegedly raped a teenage girl after kidnapping her in Yaqoobabad area while the police registered a case nine days after the incident.
Muhammad Jamil, a resident of Yaqoobabad along with his two accomplices namely Faisal and Usman allegedly abducted 17-year-old Hira Jamil with the connivance of a rickshaw driver Nadeem. He took the girl to the house of Usman where Jamil along with Faisal raped on April 22, last. The matter was reported to the Burewala City Police who registered a case No.161 on May 1, 2014 under section 365-B/376-ii PPC PS on the application of the girl’s father after nine days of the incident. The police arrested all the three accused and got medical examination of the girl from THQ Burewala. Moreover, the victim girl and all the three accused will be produced in Forensic Science Laboratory Lahore on Saturday (today) for DNA test.
In Daska, an armed accused identified as Maqsood raped his sister-in-law (brother’s wife) in her home at village Uchiyaan Kharoliyaan-Motra, Daska tehsil here. The Motra Police are looking into the matter.
Meanwhile, in Muzaffargarh, the police arrested Nasir Dasti, son of Mushtaq Dasti, a nephew of MNA Jamshed Dasti on the charge of sexually assaulting a girl (identity withheld) daughter of Abdul Latif and was booked under section 376 PPC.
Police said that Nasir Dasti trespassed into the house of Latif and assaulted his daughter. Member of Latif potter (Kumhar) tribe caught him red-handed and trashed him severely. They also shaved his head and later handed over to the police. The police have registered a case No.136/14 under section 376-1/ 511/452 PPC. Police said that he was on bail in a case of attacking the police party.
