BAHAWALNAGAR - Bandits rule the roost as they snatched Rs100,000 from a lecturer here in Officers Colony in broad daylight while shot at and injured a man on resistance.
According to details, two motorcyclists snatched Rs100,000 from a female lecturer near her house located in Officers Colony day light and fled away.
In another incident, 4 dacoits shot at one Mustafa, a resident of Farooqabad and injured him critically when he resisted their bid to snatch Rs18,000 from him. No case could be registered despite passage of 18 hours.
LAWYERS STRIKE: The lawyers observed strike in protest against the withdrawal of medical allowance by the Punjab government.
According to details, lawyers across the district observed a complete strike against withdrawal of medical allowance.
DBA president Ch Noor Hassan said that the Punjab government should address the lawyers problems and their medical allowance should be released forthwith.
