PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has urged the lawyer community to play more effective role in promoting awareness among people and help their socio-economic well-being by their efficient services.
Talking to a delegation of lawyers from Malakand which called on him at Governor’s House, Peshawar, the governor said that the role of lawyer community was of great importance in social uplift of the people, as apart from their effective contribution in dispensation of justice they also help in promoting spirit of accommodation amongst masses and ensuring rule of law and justice. Provincial Minister for Finance, Hamayoun Khan was also present on this occasion.
Talking on various points raised by members of the delegation the Governor also appreciated the spirit of the lawyers towards their professional responsibilities.
He also assured every possible support in improvement of their working atmosphere.
Badi-uz-Zaman and other members of the delegation highlighted certain problems which the people of he area have been facing and also suggested measures for their solution.
