Rawalpindi- Construction work on 10 bus stations in connection with Metro Bus Project Rawalpindi section has been started. The PIT and PAT dharnas have slowed down the pace of work of this project. However the construction companies working on 3 packages of Rawalpindi have geared up construction work on bus stations in the areas of Liaqat Bagh, Committee chowk, Waris Khan, Shams Abad, Faizabad and others. The commercial buildings acquired in connection with this project are being demolished. RDA Land Acquisition Department distributed Rs 870 million among owners of properties and the tenants.
