In a statement, he said no meeting had taken place and thus the contents of the published reports were also baseless.
Another PML-N leader Senator Pervaiz Rashid said his party legislators had no plan to tender resignations from their seats.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said the matter had not even been discussed at any party meeting. He said in an attempt to become a political martyr the government had started baseless propaganda against the PML-N.
The Senator said the PPP-led setup was getting deeper into quagmire and could collapse any time. However, it was trying to shift the responsibility of the situation to others. The baseless propaganda against the PML-N should be seen in that context, he said.
