BADIN- The Secretary General, Jamaat Islami (JI), Liaquat Baloch, has said that Musharraf is an offender, he should be punished.

The JI leader said this while addressing the participants of Eid Milan Party today. He said Musharraf should not be allowed to escape; he is offender and must be punished.

Liaquat Baloch expressed that Army was engaged in operation since last 12 years but peace could not be brought in the country, which is showing the conspiracies of international powers.
Talking about Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan, the JI leader said about one million people were displaced during the operation and they must be facilitated well.

Commenting on federal government’s decision to deploy army in the Capital, he said army deployment in Islamabad under section 245 is the political failure of government. “Thapa Mafia (riggers)” in General Election 2013, had stolen the public mandate in Karachi and Hyderabad, he remarked.

Liaquat Baloch argued that Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO) could not bring peace and stability in the country, as PPO gives extra powers to army and police.
