Parcel bomb hits courier firm outlet in Karachi

KARACHI- Terrorists targeted a local courier company in Karachi though a parcel bomb for the fourth time today, with no casualties reported.
Police said a low-intensity blast occurred outside at a courier company's outlet in Korangi No.4 area this morning. According to officials, the explosives were concealed in a parcel. There was no report of any casualties, as the office was closed at the time of the explosion which damaged shutter of the outlet.
An official of Bomb Disposal Squad said 500 gram explosives were used in the blast. It was fourth such attack on the company in last one-and-half month as investigations are underway to ascertain motives behind the blast series.
