ISLAMABAD- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has asked all political parties to submit their statement of accounts for the financial year 2013-14 by August 29.

In a press statement, ECP stated under Article 13 of the Political Parties Order 2002, every political party shall submit to the Election Commission a consolidated statement of accounts of the party within sixty days from the close of each financial year.

The statement should contain the annual income and expenses as well as the sources of its funds, assets and liabilities.
