PPP not to create uproar during Punjab budget

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership has decided that their members in the Punjab Assembly would not create uproar during the Punjab Assembly budget session in the light of the party policy of reconciliation and consensus. However, they would fully participate in the debate on the budget and would come up with the suggestions and proposals to make the budget document more productive.
The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of PPP Women Wing President Faryal Taplur and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the PM’s House here on Sunday.
It was decided that during the budget speech of Punjab Finance Minister, PPP would not indulge in any rowdiness, un-parliamentary, un-democratic and un-ethical behaviour like the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) did during the presentation of Federal Budget, an official statement said.
