PESHAWAR - In order to protest the US drone attacks in tribal areas, Jamaat-e-Islami district Peshawar chapter announced to block NATO supply route on Kohat road on November 08, 2013.
In this connection a meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Peshawar chapter was held under the chair of district Ameer Bakhrullah Khan Advocate. The meeting was also attended by other district office-bearers of the party. They unanimously decided to block Kohat road near Qamar Din Garhi Bridge on November 08 aimed to protest the November 01 drone attacks in which Taliban leader Hakeemullah Mehsood was killed. Addressing the meeting, Bakhrullah Khan advocate said that United States and its allies does not want peace in the country and they are bent upon to sabotage the dialogue process by killing the leader of Taliban. They also welcomed Imran’s decision for passing a resolution in the Assembly to block NATO supply rout through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
