Protest against POL price hike: The growers of the area have strongly condemned skyrocketing hike in POL prices here the other day. They said that the government must generate revenue but there were several other ways to increase its resources.
Addressing a press conference, Kissan Board Gujranwala division President Amanullah Chattha said that due to unabated hike in POL prices it had become very difficult rather impossible for the growers to operate their tractors or tube-wells and demanded withdrawal of recent hike otherwise the growers would be constrained to launch protest movement.
