Three injured in Balochistan incidents

QUETTA - Three people were injured in separate firing and landmine blast incidents in Balochistan while a contractor was also kidnapped here on Tuesday.
As per details, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on a NATO container in Mastung district on National Highway. Resultantly, the driver of the container identified as Habibullah received injuries in the attack, who was rushed to nearby hospital for medical aid.
The attackers managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime.
In another incident, two people were injured in landmine blast in Subatpur district. Sources said that two motorbike riders identified as Ali Hassan and Saddam Hussain were on their way in Sathmori area of Subatpur when their motorcycle hit a landmine. As a result, a huge blast occurred and both sustained injuries and were shifted to hospital.
Moreover, a contractor was kidnapped from Killi Nosar area of Quetta within the limits of Airport Police Station.
Police said that unknown armed men driving a surf vehicle intercepted Mirza Khan and took him at gun-point.  The armed men later bundled Mirza Khan into their own vehicle and fled towards unspecified location.
Local administration have registered separate cases of all the incidents and started further investigations.
