Bhutto’s death anniversary observed

PESHAWAR - Like other parts of the country, workers of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Thursday observed the 34th death anniversary of its founding chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with great reverence here in Peshawar.
In this connection a seminar was organised by the PPP district Peshawar chapter here at press club in which PPP KPK chapter Senior Vice President Azam Khan Afridi was the chief guest.  Beside others, PPP leaders, including Secretary Coordination Ayub Shah, M. Zaman, Hameedullah, Anwarzeb, Dr Daud also attended the programme.  PPP leaders said that ZAB had rendered sacrifice for the sake of country, adding People’s party leadership through politics of principles shut the mouths of opponents.
They claimed that due to the services of leadership for the masses and country, now the political opponents were tying to use the PPP flag and slogan to deceive masses, but people will not come into the tactics of such miscreants.
PPP is not a weak political party and will clean sweep in the upcoming general elections and will again make government in the country, they claimed. They further said that PPP was an ideological party, whose leadership had been rendered sacrifices for the sake of the masses and country. They vowed to follow the mission of the PPP slain chairpersons for the sake of country and masses, and will not bow in front of any un-political force in future.
