The Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nabuwwat, and deaf and dumb people took out protest rallies against Israeli aggression and barbarism separately and expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
Hundreds of deaf and dumb people participated in the protest rally. The rally commenced from Trust Plaza Fatima Jinnah Road and concluded at Shaheen Chowk where they burnt the effigy of Israeli premier and Israeli flag.
Meanwhile, a protest rally has also been taken from Jamia Mosque Block No. 1 led by Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nabuwwat local leader Maulana Mohammad Akram Toofani and other ulemas.
On the occasion, speakers strongly condemned the Israeli brutality on innocent Philistine children and women and said that bloody game against Muslims was being played according to a conspiracy to homicide the Muslims. They demanded to all Muslims countries for unity and to take steps for the stoppage of Israeli oppression and massacre of the Muslims.
TWO GUNNED DOWN: Two persons were gunned down and six sustained injuries in separate incidents here the other day.
As per detail, unidentified men ambushed near at Laksian village on Lahore Road. Resultantly, Asif Nawaz died on the spot while his wife Tahira three kids and a passerby namely Ilyas Jahangir received bullet injuries. The police claimed that the incident ascertained to old enmity. All the injured were rushed to hospital while police initiated investigation against the fleeing accused.
Secondly, Asif and Waseem opened indiscriminate fire on their cousins Zulfiquar and Zafer in Chak Qazi over minor dispute.
As a result, Zulfiquar succumbed to injuries while his brother Zafer shifted to hospital in critical condition.
