BLA releases photos of abducted FC personnel

QUETTA - The defunct Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released the photographs of the three personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and claimed that the security men were captured after they killed 35 troops and injured scores of others in the February 1 gunbattle in the Margut area.
The photos also show weapons, ammunition and communication equipments seized from the personnel. Confirming the reports, the FC officers said the soldiers were abducted after the Margut attack.
Meerak Baloch, the spokesman of BLA, on Saturday sent the three photos to the newspapers offices, showing three handcuffed FC men along with weapons, ammunition and communication gadgets.
Later, he called the journalists and claimed that they were captured after the attack by the Baloch sarmachars (fighters) on the four checkposts in the Margut area of Bolan district, which is known for coalmines.
He said the government had always been denying their (sarmachars) attacks on the forces and these photographs were enough proof to tell the people of their actions.
A FC spokesman, while talking to newsmen, said the soldiers went missing after the Margut attack, but were later known to have been kidnapped by the terrorists of the banned organisation.
