OKARA-A disabled person stabbed his first wife to death to grab property registered in her name here on Thursday.According to details, accused Muhammad Ameer, a resident of Panan Mahar area married Zahida Parveen who was also disabled and could not bear child for him.Later he married another woman who was blessed with son. The culprit wanted to get rid of the disabled wife to grab her two acres land. He repeatedly insisted his first wife to transfer the property in his name but she refused.The accused stabbed Zahida with sharp-edged weapon after exchange of hot words and tried to burn her body after sprinkling petrol but could not succeed in his nefarious designs due to the interruption of neighbours.The murderer later fled along with his son after the incident.The police registering a case against the accused started search for him.
