Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif orders to reduce load shedding

ISLAMABAD- State Minister for Power Abid Sher Ali has said that PM Nawaz Sharif had taken notice of ongoing load shedding across the country, and has ordered to reduce it.
Talking to journalists today, he said his government inherited load shedding problem from previous government, and entire country was faced with 8 to 10 hours of daily power outage. Abid Sher Ali said work is underway to set up 6600 MW of power plants in Gadani, while 2400 MW of electricity would be added to current system by the end of this year. He further said that PM Nawaz Sharif would inaugurate 1320 MW coal based power plant at Port Qasim, Karachi tomorrow.
