KARACHI - Following in their leaderships footsteps, ministers and advisers from the PML-Q resigned from the Sindh Cabinet on Tuesday. PML-Q leader Muhammad Shaharyar Mahar confirmed that his partys all four lawmakers - Shaharyar Mahar, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Haleen Aadil Shaikh and Aijaz Shah Shirazi - had resigned from their ministries. He said that thousands of people had been uprooted due the heavy rainfall in the province, but not a single meeting of the cabinet was called by the chief minister to discuss or chalk out a plan for relief and rehabilitation. PPP leaders never considered the PML-Q as its ally. It ignored our lawmakers, since they joined the gov in Sindh, he held. Mahar also said that the electorate in their (PML-Q lawmakers) constituency questioned them about the reason for joining the govt if they had to sit idle. He added that they had the ministries, but not administrative powers.
