RAWALPINDI - An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) No 1 Rawalpindi on Tuesday rejected acquittal pleas of three accused arrested by police for their alleged role in the Time Square car bombing plan. The acquittal pleas for the three accused were filed by Bisharat Ullah Advocate in ATC-1 mentioning that his clients were innocent and had no links with the convict of Time Square failed bombing plan, Faisal Shehzad. He also pleaded that the three men were implicated falsely in the case. The Judge of ATC-1 Malik Muhammad Akram Awan, after completion of lawyers arguments, rejected the acquittal pleas of the three accused and adjourned the hearing of the case.
