Top US senators to visit Pakistan, Afghanistan





WASHINGTON
Two top American senators, including Carl Levin, who chairs the powerful Armed Services Committee, would travel to Pakistan and Afghanistan to view security and political developments in the region.  Senator Jack Reed who is a senior member of Armed Services Committee would accompany Senator Levin for security reasons. Exact dates of their trip have not been announced. 
During the trip, the senators will meet high-ranking foreign leaders, diplomats, American military commanders and civilian personnel, according to a press statement issued by their office.
