ISLAMABAD- The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has banned more than one person from entry into airport buildings across the country to receive or see off passengers.

According to official sources, this step is a facet of the current airport security measures.

From now, solely one relative or friend is allowed to see off the passenger at all airports in Pakistan.

After a major attack at the Karachi airport and the Peshawar airport PIA firing incident, CAA has taken tight security measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
