OUR STAFF REPORTER SIALKOT - The two slain local politicians Latif Mughal and Haji Hanif Jathol were laid to rest in their native graveyard here at Bhopalwala, Tehsil Sambrial on Wednesday, in the presence of hundreds of the mourners from all walks of life. Sambrial Police handed over the bodies after autopsy to the grieved families for burial. A big contingent of police was deployed there to avert any further untoward incident. A day-long strike was observed in the tehsil and surrounding areas to mourn these brutal killings. Local PML-N and PPP activists took out a peaceful rally against the incident, demanding immediate arrest of the accused. As per detail, some unknown armed motorcyclists gunned down Bhopalwala PML-N president Latif Mughal and District Sialkot PPP Cultural Wing senior vice president Haji Hanif Jathol when they were sitting at a local tea stall in Bhopalwala on late Tuesday night.
