KARACHI - An anti-terrorism court here on Saturday recorded statement of driver of Chhipa ambulance in Sarfraz Shah murder case and adjourned hearing till August 8 (tomorrow). Driver Muhammad Salman, who took wounded Sarfraz to the hospital, appeared before the ATC No 1 Judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso as defence witness to record his statement. He stated that on the day of the incident, he received a telephone call that a person received critical wounds at the park. He said when he reached Benazir Shaheed Park, Sarfraz Shah was laying in very critical condition, whom he along with two accused Rangers personnel Shahid Zafar and Afzal Khan drove to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The driver, who has been named as defence witness by an accused Shahid Zafar, also stated that he covered the distance in 10 to 12 minutes.
