SADIQABAD - National People’s Party senior vice chairman Syed Mir Fazal Elahi warned the PML-N not to negatively criticise Bahawalpur Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi otherwise the party would have to bear a huge loss in the forthcoming general elections.
“Because of the flawed policies of the PML-N leadership, the great personality like Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa had defected the party.
Under the leadership of Salahuddin Abbasi, Insha’Allah Bahawalpur will be restored soon,” the NPP leader expressed the hope while talking to the media.
He added that the Nawab had no vested interest, saying that the meeting between Nawab Salahuddin and President Zardari was a positive step towards the restoration of the province. The NNP leader termed Mr Abbasi a saviour of the local people and quaid of the restoration movement.
SEMINAR ON VOTES: Falah Foundation Sadiqabad will hold a seminar to raise awareness about importance of vote and national identity cards. The seminar is aimed at educating the local women regarding their right to vote. Ishrat Sultana, the president of the foundation.
, said that the foundation was making an all-out effort to resolve the problems of women in the area. It is also educating the people regarding rights and duties of citizens. On the occasion, Munir Ahmad Syed Jafar and Wazir Ahmad were also present.
