OKARA - Five women and five children were abducted in separate incidents here.
In the first incident, six armed persons abducted a labourer’s wife and 5 children. Accused Aman, Riaz, Islam, Kashif, Ikram and others barged into the house of Mohammad Yasin, a resident of Mohalla Islam Nagar Haveli Lakha. They took away his wife Haliman Bibi, sons Mustafa, Murtaza, Shakeel and daughters Afsran Bibi and Mariya. Whereas the criminals also took away gold ornaments and a cash money of Rs50,000.
In the second incident, a young girl from Anwar Shaheed Colony of Renala Khurd was kidnapped. Riaz Hussain’s daughter Asima Riaz was lifted allegedly by Nawaz, Shehbaz, Awais and Abdul Jabbar etc.
In the other incidents, two sisters besides another girl were kidnapped. In 50/2.L, Zafar, Mohammad Khan, Akram abducted Ghulam Hussain’s two daughters Rani and Asiya. From Sher Rabbani Town, Mohammad Anwar’s daughter Shamaila was abducted allegedly by Faisal, Saleem and Tariq.
YOUTH SHOT AT: A person coming back home after offering prayers was shot at. The resident of 42/GD Bashir was going back home when Rasheed alias Sheeda along with his companions opened fire at him. He sustained wounds. The motive behind the incident is stated some minor row.
TWO INJURED: In Mandi Ahmadabad, the rivals injured a woman and her daughter. Karamat Ali’s house was attacked by seven persons including Aslam, Amjad, Arshad e at Nai Abadi Jalal Wali. The accused also thrashed Karamat’s mother-in-law and wife Shamaila.
