islamabad - Chinese Ambassador to Islamabad, Liu Jian called on PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf here on Friday and discussed with him important issues relating to bilateral relations of the two countries at PM’s House on Friday. Talking to the Chinese Ambassador, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that Pak-China friendship was time-tested and no phrase can define the depth of relations between both the countries.
He said that Pakistan deeply appreciates the Chinese support in fields of energy, communications, agriculture, trade and banking.
The Prime Minister condemned the terrorist activities of ETIM and said that Pakistan would provide every support in countering and defeating these forces.
Ashraf said that he had instructed law-enforcement agencies to provide fool proof security to Chinese working in Pakistan.
He highly appreciated Chinese assistance during natural calamities.
The Chinese Ambassador conveyed the message of felicitation on behalf of Chinese government on assuming the office of the Chief Executive of Pakistan.
He extended invitation the Prime Minister to visit China later this year which the Prime Minister accepted.
