Rawalpindi-After terrorist attacks on Karachi and Peshawar Airport decision has been taken to provide internal security vehicles to airport security force for ensuring the security of 7 airports along with Benazir Bhutto International airport.
One vehicle has been provided to ASF on Benazir International Airport, training will also be given to master trainers of ASF for operating the vehicle and its system after which master trainers will train the other staff.
Bullet proof bunker and bum of metal have been installed on the entry gate of airport while implementation has been started regarding an attendant for passengers. Sources told that three armed person cars were demanded for Benazir Airport while 20 cars were asked to provide for Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Faisalabad, which were decided to be acquired from Heavy Industry Texila.
