AHMEDPUR EAST - A woman namely Shahida Bibi allegedly strangled her husband Mohammad Aslam to death over a domestic dispute.
The incident occurred in Chak-149/NP Chanigoth here the other night. Upon information, the Chanigoth Police rushed to the scene and arrested Mst Shahida. Later, the body was handed over to the family members after autopsy at Tehsil Headquarters Civil Hospital. Further investigation is in progress.
Man booked for sodomy: Police booked a man, namely Rai Nusrullah Bhatti, for sodomising a 13-year-old boy in Makhi Wala village on Tuesday.
According to an official of the Saddr Police Station, Bhatti deceitfully took his neighbour Shahbaz’s son, Atif, to his animal farm and assaulted him. As the boy put up resistance and cried for help, several locals rushed. The accused, however, fled the scene.
