Our Staff Reporter BAHAWALPUR - PPP District Bahawalpur Secretary Information Muhammad Saleem Bhatti has expressed deep concern over the poor law and order situation in the area and has accused the Punjab government of failure to grasp the situation so far. The PML-N Punjab government could never regain its lost popularity due to its failure and poor performance. Addressing a condolence meeting here the other night, he paid rich tribute to the PPP leaders, particularly to the Bhutto family and said that former Premiers, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed and the former chairperson Nusrat Bhutto, saying their remarkable services for the country, public and democracy would always be remembered. He said that the PPP was the party of the masses and it had been struggling for upholding democracy and ensuring public welfare. BNAP VOWS TO CONTINUE STRUGGLE: The leaders of the Bahawalpur National Awami Party (BNAP) have warned the rulers that if the provincial status of Bahawalpur is not restored they will be compelled to launch a protest movement. There will be no compromise on principals and will not allow anybody to make Bahawalpur part of any other province.
