Lakki scouts visit graves of martyrs

LAKKI MARWAT -  As part of national scout week activity, the scouts of different state-run schools on Friday went to the graveyards in Wanda Kalan and Mela Shahabkhel localities and offered Fateha for the souls of martyred soldiers of Pak army and policemen.
Led by ADEO (physical & sports) Nisar Muhammad who also holds the office of district scout secretary, the scouts of government high and higher secondary schools Tajazai, Abakhel, Ghaznikhel and other schools offered Fateha for Shaheed Lt Adnan Bashir in Mela Shahabkhel and Shaheed Abdul Salam in Wanda Kalan. They paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Pak army for sacrificing their lives to let their countrymen live with peace and dignity.
On the occasion Mr Nisar said that Shaheed Lt Adnan Bashir fought against terrorists bravely and repulsed their attack on his post in Orakzai Agency. "The gallant soldier embraced martyrdom when he set out to reach the other post to help jawans," he told.
He told that Shaheed Abdul Salam belonged to 25 cavalry (Man of Steel) FF Regiment. "He took part in Mamonzai operation in Sadda tehsil of Kurrm Agency and cleared Pakha Kili area of militants", he maintained.
He said that the soldier Abdul Salam came out of the tank to offer prayer after securing the target/goal successfully.
