LAHORE- A married woman was scorched when an accused hurled acid at today and fled the scene. The Chief Minister Punjab took the notice of incident and directed to arrest the culprits.
Rescue sources said that two motorcyclists threw acid at a married woman at Multan Road of the provincial capital, stated to be hailing from Lahore. The accused managed to speed away from the scene after committing the crime.
As a result of acid attached the women sustained wounds and was rushed to hospital where according to hospital sources her 25 percent body was scorched in the acid attack. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and directed the police authorities to arrest the culprits and present a report within 24 hours. The police have registered a case against the attackers and started raids
for their arrest.
