ISLAMABAD- The death anniversary of Madre Millat Mohtarma Fatimah Jinnah will be observed tomorrow with reverence and respect. She passed away on July 9, 1967.
Various political parties and women’s wings of many organizations have arranged seminars, discussions and conferences for this occasion. The speakers will highlight the services rendered by Fatima Jinnah.
Meanwhile the radio, TV channels and newspapers will address her amazing struggles endured for the formation of Pakistan.
She and her brother Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah worked tirelessly to obtain a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Sub-continent.
The respected Fatima Jinnah died at the age of 73 and is buried in Karachi.
