AQ Khan, Bugti to form grand alliance

ISLAMABAD - Abdul Qadeer Khan, who recently launched his political party Tehreek-e-Tahafuzz Pakistan, has agreed to form a grand political alliance with Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader Talal Bugti.
The decision was taken during a meeting between both the party leaders in Islamabad on Sunday.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the law and order situation in Balochistan as well as the “Save Pakistan Movement” launched by AQ Khan.
AQ Khan also accepted Bugti’s invitation to hold his first party rally in Balochistan.
Talking to media, after his meeting with the famed nuclear scientist, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Talal expressed his concern that he would not be allowed to succeed in his political endeavours.
He announced that the main impetus behind his political move was to stem the rise of artificial leadership in Assemblies.
He said that he was also in contact with various religious, political elements regarding his latest endeavours, but was concerned that hidden elements would not like to see Punjab chapter being included through these efforts.
On the occasion, he also announced that Akhtar Mengal had contrived his ‘6-points’ from his (Talal’s)’16-points’.
He also expressed his desire that trial of Akbar Bugti murder case should be re-opened in Balochistan courts.
Meanwhile, Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti after his meeting with Ejaz-ul-Haq and Haji Muhammad Gulzar Awan, the heads of PML (Z) and Pakistan Amn Party said that the loyalty of Baloch people with Pakistan is above question and those who try to prove that the Balochi people are foes of Pakistan are themselves dishonest and playing in the hands of enemies of Pakistan. Talal Bugti also demanded to stop Army action in Balochistan and abolishing no-go areas in Marri and Bugti tribes.
Ejaz-ul-Haq and Haji Muhammad Gulzar Awan vowed to support Talal Bugti over the issue of Balochistan and assured him their full support to make their move successful for the rights of Balochi people.
They also appreciated the feelings of Balochi people that they have for Punjab and for other provinces.
