Shopkeeper held for selling armed forces’ uniforms

The Cantonment Police have arrested a shopkeeper identified as Mirza Aftab for ‘illegally’ selling uniforms of armed forces at his shop in the Cantt area here. Police have recovered a huge stock of uniforms from the shop.
According to senior police officials, the Cantt Police have sent the accused behind the bars after registration of a ing a case against him, in this regard.
NO CLUE TO RS7M DACOITY: The police are still unable to find any clue to a major dacoity of Rs7 million in the house of Kuwait-returned trader situated in Model Town here two days ago.
As per reports, five unidentified armed dacoits looted gold ornaments (worth of Rs6.4 million), Rs0.4 million cash and other valuables at gunpoint from the house of Javaid Nagi in Model Town Sialkot. The accused made all family members including women and children hostage at gunpoint and fled away after locking the family in separate rooms.
Local traders have expressed grave concern over the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the accused.
However, the police have unable to find any clue about the culprits.
