ISLAMABAD A single-member bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) comprising Justice Mohammad Anwar Kasi on Wednesday dismissed the pre-arrest bail petitions of accused involved in fraud and drugs. After the dismissal of bail petitions, police arrested accused Arshad Tariq Chohan and Mohammad Haris Ali from the courtroom. Case was registered against Arshad Tariq Chohan for recovery of 200 liquor bottles from him. However, the counsel for Rashid Tariq informed the court that the allegations levelled against his client were false. The liquor was recovered from Waseem Ahmed who is on bail. The counsel requested the court that the bail petition of his client should be accepted. On the other hand Mohammad Haris allegedly involved in fraud of car selling and case against him was registered with the Industrial Area Police Station. The counsel of Haris informed the court that the agreement of Ijaz Ahmed Kiani is not with his client, however it is with someone else. And the vehicle mentioned in the case was handed over to Kiani on April 29,2011. Therefore his client has nothing to do with this case. The counsel requested that his bail petition should be accepted. After hearing the arguments of the both counsels, court dismissed the pre-arrest bails petitions.
