Shahbaz Bhatti paid rich tributes

SARGODHA
Third death anniversary of late Federal Minister Shahbaz Bhatti was observed by Pakistan Minorities Alliance.
On the occasion, PMA Chairman Tahir Naveed, Secretary General Sohail Jhonson, Central Youth Organizer Farrukh Tanvir, PMA Vice Chairman Khurram Shahzad, Christian Lawyers Association President Pervez Shoukat Bhatti, Sarfraz Likmant, Tahira Anjam, Robina Tasneem, Farazul Haq, Father Younas Alam and Samuel Nazir Sandhu addressed a huge gathering.
The gathering was also aimed to promote the philosophy of Shahbaz Bhatti for the protection of rights of minorities. They condemned terrorist attacks on sacred places of different sects in Pakistan. They said that the whole nation should fight terrorism with unity. They demanded maintenance of the supremacy of law and the Constitution and protection of minorities’ rights in accordance with the Constitution. They said that Shahbaz Bhatti was the real representative of minorities. As a result of his struggle, they said, Christian youth were getting official jobs. On the occasion, they also held a candlelight vigil in his remembrance and offered prayer ceremony.
