QUETTA - The local police recovered a 10-kilogram bomb and later defused it in Kalat district, some 160 kilometers southeast of Quetta on Saturday night. The police sources told the reporters that someone informed the police that a suspicious thing was lying near the road in Sheesha Dakar, some 3km away from Kalat town. It said that police team alongwith bomb disposal squad was sent to the site where they found a brief case. When the brief case was opened it contained Improvised Explosive Device weighing 10 kilogram which was later defused. The police registered case against unidentified saboteurs and started investigations.
