Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for PP-268 Mirza Muhammad Nawaz has withdrawn in favour of PML-N candidate Qazi Adnan Farid. He hoped that Qazi Adnan Farid would come up to the expectations of the inhabitants of Ahmedpur East if he is elected MPA on May 11. He urged his supporters to fully back the candidature of PML-N candidate Qazi Adnan Farid.
Meanwhile, Bar Association President Nazar Hussein Aslam has announced to support the BNAP candidate for National Assembly seat Makhdoom Syed Samiul Hassan Gillani and provincial assembly slot candidate Sahibzada Muhammad Umer Abbasi.
Talking to newsmen, he pledged to launch an election campaign in favour of both the candidates in the final round of electioneering. He organised a meeting of his group lawyers in court premises to get the support for independent candidate Sahibzada Muhammad Umer Abbasi.
