ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Telecommunications Authority Chairman, Ismail Shah has informed the Supreme Court that 3G and 4G licenses would be auctioned by April 23.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Jawaad Khawaja heard the 3G and 4G auction case today. Justice Khawaja during the proceedings inquired about the auction that would only entertain licensed companies .

The PTA chairman told the apex court that the auction would take place by April 23 and it was expected to generate Rs 1.3 trillion. The hearing of the case has been adjourned till April 16.
