PESHAWAR- Member Taliban committee, Professor Ibrahim says there is a lack of confidence between the government and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Ibrahim’s statement comes on a day when the TTP ceasefire expired after a ten day extension by the banned organisation. The Taliban committee member told journalists that talks could be held in Islamabad or Peshawar after confidence was restored between the two sides.
“We are working towards the restoration of confidence.” Professor Ibrahim said Taliban leader Mullah Omar has made statements that
he wanted to see peace in Pakistan and an end to terrorist activity.
