At least two children were killed and three others injured when roof of a dilapidated house caved in the wee hours of Friday.
According to details, roof of the mud-stone made house located in Nandipur area of Gujranwala collapsed as the area received heavy rain previous night.
Two children identified as Saba, 08, and Sher Muhammad, 05, were killed in the roof cave in while three others sustained critical wounds. The parents of deceased sleeping in other room of the house fortunately remained unhurt.
The locals and rescue personnel dug out the bodies and injured from the rubble and shifted them to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Gujranwala.
